The supermodel was in a London court this morning to answer to six charges stemming from an incident in April when she was removed from a Los Angeles-bound flight at London’s Heathrow airport following a row over luggage.

Naomi, 38, pleaded guilty to six charges – three counts of assaulting a police constable, one count of disorderly conduct likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress, and two counts of using threatening, abusive words or behaviour towards cabin crew.

Outside West London’s Uxbridge Magistrates court – where Naomi arrived wearing a black suit and sunglasses in a chauffer driven Mercedes – her spokesman Alan Edwards said the incident had been “regrettable” but Naomi wanted to give magistrates her side of the story.

Naomi asked the court to take into account the fact she was taking medication at the time. She also claimed she was angry because her missing clothes were her “working wardrobe”, and compared it to a plumber losing their tools.

She will be sentenced later this year but could be jailed for up to six months or fined up to £5,000.

Naomi was ordered to attend an anger management course last year after pleading guilty to assaulting her maid.
