Well, it seems that this hands on dedication has paid off as the bank has topped the 2010 Which? table for big brands’ customer service. “I’ve not come across any supplier that is more helpful” said one happy customer.
In contrast near bottom of the table Santander got a mauling. One client said: “Customer service does not exist” at the Spanish owned bank.
While we can’t say that the first direct staff will be quite as pro-active as the ‘outreach’ street-workers in the video shot in London, it does seem that the firm’s focus on consumer satisfaction has paid off as they also managed to land the 2010 Financial Services Provider of the Year to boot.
