Peter and bride Autumn Kelly reportedly angered his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, after selling the rights of the Windsor Castle wedding and reception to Hello! magazine for a reported UKP500,000.

The queen and Prince Philip, Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall, the Duke of York and the Earl and Countess of Wessex all refused to be in the official photographs – but posed for newspaper photographers on the steps of St George’s Chapel.

The couple were reportedly so worried about the backlash from the deal that they threatened to pull out at the last minute.

However, after taking part in a pre-wedding photo shoot and interview it was felt impossible for Peter and Autumn to cancel.

Just one official photograph of the couple with their parents and grandparents – including Princess Anne, the queen and Prince Philip – has been released.
