Prince Harry is set to propose to girlfriend Chelsy Davy, after reportedly asking her father for her hand in marriage.

Harry was seen deep in conversation with Charles and Beverley Davy in a five-star hotel in South Africa’s Cape Town, sparking rumours he is planning to pop the question to the Zimbabwe-born beauty.
A friend of the 23-year-old royal told Britain’s Daily Star Sunday newspaper: “It was a pretty intense conversation. He obviously had a serious issue to discuss with them. Harry is a traditional guy. He wanted to do things properly and ask for her father’s permission.”
However, multi-millionaire Charles is believed to have some reservations about Harry.
One friend of the Davy family said: “He’s a lovely young man but he sometimes fails to follow things through. Chelsy’s parents know he loves her but want to make sure that he’ll stick with her.”
Harry – who returned from a 10-week tour of Afghanistan last month – has also reportedly taken to calling Chelsy his ‘Wifey’, after deciding she would make the perfect life partner.
The prince’s friend added: “He has been thinking about what’s important to him – and top of the list is Chelsy.”
