Sienna Miller and Rhys Ifans are planning to marry on a private Mexican island, it has been claimed.

The G.I. Joe actress – who reportedly accepted Rhys’ proposal earlier this month – is said to have chosen the idyllic island of Isla Mujeres, located eight miles off the coast of Mexico’s Cancun.
A source close to the couple said: “This is the perfect location for Sienna to have her big day. This particular resort is literally in the middle of nowhere, so it’s perfect if you want a private ceremony.
“They fell in love with Mexico the first time they went there – so it makes sense for Sienna to choose it as a location for her big day.”
Sienna, 26, and Rhys, 39, are expected to invite guests to stay in the resort, which includes a ten-bedroom villa, several guest houses and a boat ramp, and is owned by one of Sienna’s friends.
Following the ceremony, guests will enjoy traditional Mexican food and tequila, which will be shipped in from the mainland due to the resort’s remote location.
Sienna finally agreed to be Rhys’ wife after he popped the question several times.
In December last year, Rhys bought Sienna an engagement ring for her 26th birthday, and hid the specially designed band among a pile of presents, while last month he allegedly issued her a marriage ultimatum.
Last November, the Notting Hill actor is believed to have proposed to the blonde beauty by serenading her with a poem entitled Marry This Misfit.
