The 33-year-old singer is returning for a second time to be a guest judge on the show – joining Louis Walsh, Gary Barlow and Tulisa Contostavlos – but annoyed some by taking her time to arrive.
When she eventually did, she wowed the crowd with a stunning black dress.
Among the auditionees in London yesterday was Essex-boy Joe Cox, who was last year booted out of the competition at Gary’s judge’s house stage.
Excited about his return, Gary said: “Your no was the hardest for me by far and I’ve been waiting for this moment. You are going to be a great artist. Welcome back!”
Nicole has been among a number of guest judges who have joined the show after negotiations to have Dannii Minogue return to the panel failed.
Leona Lewis, Rita Ora – who is believed to have impressed the audience and producers with her warm personality – and Geri Halliwell have all stood in temporarily.
