MICHAEL JACKSON, now Mikaeel Jackson, is to show up at the High Court on Monday (24 November) to defend claims that he owes millions to a Bahrain sheikh.

Sheikh Abdullah says he forwarded Jackson £4.7 million in 2006 to help the pop legend out of a financial hole during his child molestation trial – he was found innocent – and that Jackson agreed to pay the cash back out of future earnings.
That last bit is the sticking point, with Jackson denying there was a valid agreement for repayment. He says he saw the money as a gift.
There was some talk that Jackson would duck out of a trip to the UK on medical grounds, but his doctors have now given him the all-clear.
Menawhile, Jackson has become a Moslem and changed his name to Mikaeel, in a ceremony witnessed by music-meets-Mohammed trailblazer Yusuf Islam, formerly Cat Stevens.
Mikaeel is the name of one of Allah’s angels.
