KATIE WAISSEL’S gran says that her granddaughter’s appearances on the X Factor have ruined her career as an escort.

During the time late last year when Waissel was strutting her stuff on the X Factor, Sheila Vogel-Coupe was exposed as an escort by the tabloids.
The subsequent media-storm led to rows within the pair’s extended family and then a fall off in business for Vogel-Coupe as clients fought shy of publicity.
“She has ruined my career,” Vogel-Coupe, 82, told This Morning.
“I’m afraid she has but I still wish her well. I love her.”
“It breaks my heart to see my family to be split up like this. I love them all. I just ask them not to be so judgemental to me.”
Vogel-Coupe also defended herself against accusations that she is a prostitute.
“I’m not a prostitute,” she said.
“I’m an escort and I go out with gentlemen and we go to the opera with them or a nice dinner with them but I’m not a prostitute.”
“I do charge them yes, for my time. During my time we may just sit and talk, we may go out for dinner, we may go to the cinema, and we might do other things, yes.”
