The Match Point actor is completely smitten with make-up heiress Reena Hammer and believes their different personality traits make them a perfect match.
He said: “She’s very smart, she’s very beautiful and very responsible. I am different.”
Although he is happy in his relationship, the 30-year-old star doesn’t feel he is ready to become a father. The Tudors star said: “I’m not so sure about that. Maybe.”
However, Kirsten Sheridan, the director on Jonathan’s movie August Rush thinks the actor would make a perfect dad after portraying a parent on-screen.
She said: “He had such an emotional response to the idea of playing a father.”
Last year, Jonathan was left devastated after his beloved mother Geraldine
passed away. Geraldine single-handedly raised the Bend It Like Beckham star after his father walked out on three-year-old Jonathan, his mother and his brother Alan, taking the actor’s two elder brothers with him.
