GREEN DAY have confirmed the dates of their UK tour for later this year.

As far as London is concerned that means the 23 and 24 October at the O2, while the band who gave us American Idiots are also to play in Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester and Sheffield in the same month – all part of their first proper UK tour since 2005.
The tour will help promote Green Day’s new concept album, 21st Century Breakdown, which is released worldwide on Friday, 15 May.
