FREIDA PINTO, the love interest in Oscar smash Slumdog Millionaire, is to star in the next-but-one Woody Allen movie, set in London.

US magazine Variety reports that Pinto will be joined by Josh Brolin, Anthony Hopkins and Naomi Watts in the film, which has yet to be given the benefit of a title.
Allen has filmed in London before, for the 2005 tennis drama Match Point, which was his biggest attack on the box office in years, as well as the less successful Scoop in 2006 and Cassandra’s Dream (2007).
Before working on his fourth London film, Allen is to complete Whatever Works, starring Larry David and Evan Rachel Wood.
Slumdog Millionaire was Pinto’s acting debut and bagged her a shared Screen Actors Guild Award as as well as a Bafta nomination. She worked previously as a model and TV presenter.
