Sadly, the The Women star isn’t interested in the ex-Smiths singer from a romantic angle, but because the pair are both keen supporters of animal rights charity People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).
“I really want to do a PETA ad with Morrissey,” Mendes told The Sun. “I’d be happy to do it naked if need be.
“Whether Morrissey would want to get naked with me is another question. Maybe he could come up with something more creative than out-and-out nudity.”
On the subject of a possible relationship, Mendes had some bad news for the Viva Hate singer.
“I love Morrissey, but I don’t think I’d want to marry him,” she said.
