Dionne Warwick has had over UKP51,000 of jewellery stolen from her Italian hotel room.

The I Say A Little Prayer singer was left shaken after learning her room at Rome’s Hotel De Russie had been raided by thieves. The intruders took a Rolex watch, a gold necklace, a pair of earrings and two diamond rings from her nightstand.
Dionne – who is touring Italy this month – was being treated for a twisted ankle when the gang of thieves raided her room.
The 67-year-old star was an hour late for her concert in the city following the raid, and told the audience: “I’m sorry, I was robbed.”
Hollywood actress Cameron Diaz was staying at the same hotel seven years ago when she returned to her room and came face-to-face with a pair of thieves raiding her luggage.
