The Wild Things actress is said to be “very happy” after a judge ruled she could involve her children, Sam, three, and two-year-old Lola, in the fly-on-the-wall show, against the wishes of their “angry” father Charlie Sheen.

The hearing took place behind closed doors due to the pair’s ongoing custody battle.

A source said: “The judge gave Denise the green light to go ahead with the show, but with certain restrictions and ground rules. She is absolutely delighted because it would have been almost impossible to do a reality show if she wasn’t allowed to involve her daughters.

“Charlie is really angry. He didn’t want this to happen.”

Earlier this week, it was reported Charlie deemed Denise’s reality TV plans “greedy, vain and exploitative”. It was believed his consent would be required before Sam and Lola could be involved.

The pair have been involved in a bitter custody battle since ending their
four-year marriage in 2006. Denise has requested a custody evaluation, no overnight visits for Charlie, and the authority to make decisions regarding the care of the children.
