Despite the “it’s all speculation” denials from the show’s production team, strong rumours persist that the former Take That dancer is to be drafted in as a replacement for Danii Minogue.

With Minogue out of the picture, the way would be clear for Williams to join the team, which would help explain his reported desire to leave Los Angeles for London in the coming months.
X Factor producers remain tight-lipped on the issue, however: “No decisions have been made about contracts and no decisions will be made until next year,” said a spokesperson for the show.
