Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are to host a fundraiser for a university.

The couple will act as hosts at the Starry Starry Night benefit gala in aid of the University of Charleston, in Jennifer’s West Virginia hometown.
The event, held on September 19, will help fund a new USD2 million sports complex for the university. Tickets for the fundraiser cost USD250 and organisers expect to make USD500,000 from the evening.
Alias star Jennifer described the university as an “incredibly positive” influence on her when she was growing up.
Texas-born Jennifer moved to Charleston when she was four and stayed there until her late teens, when she moved to Ohio to study.
Jennifer and Ben have been dating since July 2004. They married in June 2005 and have a two-year-old daughter, Violet.
