The Girlfriend singer is keen to branch out beyond the music industry and try her hand at running a celebrity publication, but insists she will only focus on optimistic stories.
She said: “I would make it completely positive. There’s so much negativity in the world right now. I’d pick up the big stories, but they’d have to be positive.”
This isn’t the first time Avril has expressed an interest in other careers. Last month, the singer unveiled her new clothing line – Abbey Dawn.
The range, which includes hooded tops, jeans and T-shirts, will go on sale in the US in July. The 23-year-old singer is also planning to release her own range of beauty products.
Avril applied for a patent for the line which is set to include “fragrances and perfume, aftershave, bath soap, shower gel, bath crystals, body lotion, body cream, hand lotion and talc.”
