Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z have officially confirmed their marriage.

The superstar couple – who tied the knot on April 4 but refused to acknowledge any nuptials – filed their signed marriage license last Friday (18.04.08) in Scarsdale, New York.
Beyonce and Jay-Z applied for the license – which lists the wedding date as April 4th 2008 – on April 1, three days before the ceremony.
Scarsdale Town Clerk Donna Conkling said: “They were very low-key and weren’t dressed up. They did not have a large entourage.”
The couple took the license home that day, and then signed it and mailed it in after the ceremony. Although the document was filed late, Conkling says it should be processed without a penalty.

Martin and Beyonce’s former Destiny’s Child bandmates Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland.
