Previously unseen pictures of the Queen as a child are to be published in a new book to commemorate the birth of Prince George.
Rare photographs of the monarch and other royalty including Queen Victoria will be in the book, published by the Royal Collection Trust, and there's even a snap of the Queen at just five weeks old.
Other pictures show the 87-year-old royal riding her first pony, a Shetland named Peggy, when she was just four-years-old. The horse was given to her as a gift by her grandfather and in the photo, the Queen can be seen perched atop her steed while her father - King George VI, who was then known as the Duke of York - supports her.
In another picture, a young Queen Elizabeth can be seen hand-in-hand with her mother, the then-Duchess of York, and her grandmother Queen Mary as they enjoy a stroll at royal residence Balmoral in Scotland.
The family photos were taken by the monarch's parents and will be published in Royal Baby Book: A Souvenir Album, which will chronicle royal children from Queen Victoria to Prince George.
