Having overcome a diagnosis of terminal pancreatic cancer, Johnson is celebrating his 70th birthday in the same year as his band reaches its 35th anniversary. He will mark the occasion with a nostalgic array of rhythm'n'blues and classic rock, with support from people's poet Dr John Cooper Clarke.
