Come along to our #readingwomen Book Group. For August, we're reading The Tiger's Wife by Tea Obreht.

This year, the Women's Prize for Fiction turns 25! Westarted this book groupalmost two years ago with Home Fire by Kamila Shamsie, the 2018 winner. To celebrate, we are renaming our group and changing ourselections to include some winners from the past 25 years. This month we'll discuss The Tiger's Wife by Tea Obreht.A tiger escapes from the local zoo, padding through the ruined streets and onwards, to a ridge above the Balkan village of Galina. His nocturnal visits hold the villagers in a terrified thrall - but for one boy, the tiger is a thing of magic.Natalia is the granddaughter of that boy.
