A Finnish-South Carolina blues double bill.

The Finnish vocalist and award-winning slide guitarist shares the bill with a blues singer and guitarist who was born and grew up in South Carolina but has lived most of his life in Germany.

"Finnish slide goddess" (The Blues Magazine) Erja Lyytinen is a singer, a slide guitarist and a songwriter who plays 100+ shows every year and releases albums through her label Tuohi Records. After her latest Stolen Hearts album, which was mixed by Rolling Stones producer Chris Kimsey, she performed on the Finnish TV show Stars Stars for millions on TV and is building a career that has taken her to perform together with Sonny Landreth among others. In November 2017 Erja won the European Blues Award for Best Guitarist and was voted the seventh best blues guitarist in a poll of The MusicRadar. In June 2018 she opened for Santana at their show in Helsinki's Kaisaniemi Park. BIG DADDY WILSON has been touring around the world for the last 25 years and has been sharing his love for the blues with people verywhere. 2018 he was impressing his fans with the energetic anniversary Tour. The successful "Deep in my Soul" Tour 2019 was an intimate and heartfelt journey into the heart and soul of Big Daddy Wilson. Now in 2020 we want ton continue this journey and explore new sounds together. Taking you across the river, the singing river way down in Muscle Shoals / Alabama into the famous FAME Studio where great legends played and recorded, Aretha Franklin, Etta James, Otis Redding, Wilson Picket etc. Wilson will be singing songs about the deep feelings within his heart, about the joy and pain, we all go through in life, about the love we need to keep on keeping it on.
