100 years on from its foundation, the City of Lichfield Concert Band has a special relationship with the City of Lichfield and plays for civic events and other public ceremonies. Several concerts are given in the Guildhall each year and the band also play at the annual 'Proms in Beacon Park'. In April 2016 the band performed at the finals of the National Concert Band Festival at the Royal Northern College of Music Manchester.
