A fortified basement designed for use by the Prime Minister and the Cabinet during the Second World War in the event of the aerial bombardment of London. As part of the site, Churchill Museum is a permanent exhibition dedicated to the life of legendary statesman and his successes.

Conveniently situated between Parliament and the Prime Minister's office-residence at 10 Downing Street, this fortified basement was designed for use by the Prime Minister and the Cabinet during the Second World War in the event of an aerial bombardment of London. As part of the site, Churchill Museum houses a permanent exhibition dedicated to the life of the legendary statesman and his successes.
