Your favourite crafts show returns to Sandown Park Exhibition Centre this September. To welcome you we’ve introduced new things to see and do including FREE Papercraft Taster Sessions with Stephanie Weightman and Knitting-Know-How supported by RKM Wools where you can exchange handy hints with local knitters. Whether you are an expert or beginner you will be inspired when you visit the show.

Features at this event include:
Stephanie Weightman – free 45 minutes sessions with the designer and TV presenter.
Machine Embroidered Seascapes with Wendy Dolan – Learn how to ‘draw’ with your sewing machine. Design and create a small picture with freehand machine embroidery and applied fabrics.
Make & Take Workshops from a range of crafting experts. Including beading, decopatch,needle felt, fusing fabric, collage and quilting amongst others.
Free ‘have a go’ area Supported by Craft Habitat. This is an area where budding crafters can have a go using all the latest stamps, punches, dies, papers etc and with no time limit or cost involved. It is the perfect place to let your imagination go and experiment with new ideas.
Knitting Know – now supported by www.rkmwools.co.uk. Come and meet like-minded knitters in your area – swap ideas and get handy hints and problems solved. Open to all ages free of charge.
Japanese Flower Kanzashi with Festival of Japan – a simple method to produce embellishments, brooches, jewellery etc. using traditional Japanese fabrics.
Digital Imagery on Fabric – Creative uses for your digital images with Stone Creek Silk’s Ruth Brown who will be demonstrating techniques from her new book ‘Digital Imagery on Fabric’. Ruth has over 15 years’ experience in both textiles and IT and her book features textile techniques for the 21st century. Visit stand P32 to see the techniques demonstrated and meet the author. Book signings available on request.
Beading Bonanza – exciting brand new bead workshops providing something special for everyone!

The Show is your opportunity to shop for those hard to find supplies as well as stock up on your favourite craft products! There are workshops where you can learn new techniques from the experts and a wide selection of exhibitors. There will be several on-stand displays, presentations and advice centres as well as feature displays. An interesting programme of hands-on workshops and new master classes is planned. The exhibition is the perfect place to see, try and buy all your creative craft supplies.
