Zara Phillips has revealed she is waiting for boyfriend Mike Tindal to propose.
The 26-year-old royal – daughter of Princess Anne – says she is keen to tie the knot with the England rugby star but believes it should be him who pops the question.
The blonde beauty, who has been dating Mike for four years, said: “I’m old-fashioned. I think they should ask you. Everyone at the Gloucester rugby club seems to be getting married and having babies so they keep asking me, ‘What about you?’ We tell each other we love each other every day.”
When asked if she thought she had sown her wild oats, Zara told GQ Sport magazine: “Yes – I think I have.”
Zara – who is 12th in line to the throne – says if she wasn’t a member of the royal family she “could have got away with more things”.
Zara also says she’s pleased she is known for her horse riding skills rather than being a royal.
Zara – who is reigning Eventing World Champion and the 2006 BBC Sports Personality of the Year – said: “I think it’s better to be known as a horse rider than a royal. They are my family but it’s nice to be known for something else.”
