The 24-year-old singer was set to take a break from performing live but the offer for the November show looks set to be too good an opportunity to turn down.

Amy is believed to hope the cash will help her and husband Blake Fielder-Civil – who was jailed for 27 months last week for grievous bodily harm and perverting the course of justice – start a new life together.

A source told the Daily Star: “The offer comes at a time when Blake is very much on Amy’s mind.

“Things still need to be worked out but, if she does the gig, she will hand the fee straight to Blake who should be free soon afterwards.

“She thinks it will give him something to make a clean start with and he can plan how best to use the money during the rest of his sentence.

“One idea is that he could use the cash to set himself up in business.”

London-based Prince Azim, 25, is the son of the Sultan of Brunei and will inherit a slice of his father’s £25billion oil fortune.

He is famous for sending gifts to his favourite showbiz personalities. Last year, he struck up a friendship with reality television star Jade Goody and gave her a £30,000 diamond ring.

In 2000, he used a private jet to deliver a £3million necklace to Mariah Carey.
