Named as Nina Kanagasingham, 34, the woman gave her name at City of Westminster Magistrates Court and will be back there next week.

In the alleged incident on Monday, the unnamed man, 63, dressed in women’s clothes, ended up in the path of an oncoming train at King’s Cross station. The station had to be evacuated causing long delays to commuters.

One theory detectives were said to be working on is that the man fell to his death as the result of a play-fight gone wrong. The couple apparently knew each other, some witnesses reported the tussle between them started as a joke and police have ruled out hate-crime as a motive.

But all that would seem to go against the murder charge. The case continues at City of Westminster Magistrates Court next Tuesday.
