THE SHOREDITCH FESTIVAL hits its ten year anniversary this weekend, with its regular mix of free music, films and food alongside the Regents Canal in east London.

Much of the entertainment takes place on boats and barges moored on the canal, with a floating cinema, a floating DJ stage and a circus boat complete with crazy acrobats.

For land-lubbers, there are cafes, sports events and, among many other treats, a dog show.

Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 of the Shoreditch Festival sees the most action on the canal itself, but the event continues throughout next week and on until next weekend, ending, hopefully with a splash, on Sunday 24 July.
