MICHAEL JACKSON tickets might be hard to come by, but at least fans look like they’ll get to see their hero on the X Factor.

Simon Cowell, the X Factor’s boss, pulled off a coup by getting Britney Spears on the talent show last year and is “determined to get his man” this time as well, a source told the Daily Mirror.

“The only sticking point is that while Britney had her new album to promote, Jacko’s shows have sold out in minutes and don’t necessarily need the publicity,” the source added.

“But Cowell won’t let that stop him.”

Tickets for Jacko’s concerts went on general sale on Friday 13 and the 50 shows, representing about one million seats, quickly sold out.

Punters can still buy tickets on the fan-to-fan ticket exchanges, such as Get Me In.

The success at the box office of the London dates could lead Jacko to go on a world tour, according to some reports.

Meanwhile, rumours of what will be on the This Is It series set-list are doing the rounds, with the following greatest hits line up thought the most likely:

Billie Jean
Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’

Human Nature
