At least 100,000 visitors are expected to taste its sounds, sights and flavours spread over eight themed zones, including areas devoted to dance, urban music and circus performers.

Other highlights of the festival, which features artists and performers both traditional and modern, are Doosra, a stage for alternative sounds and Magic, where kids are the centre of attention.

Food is also a crucial aspect of the Mela and this year they’ve laid on 25 food outlets covering a staggering variety of tastes.

You can probably stretch to treats as it’s free entry to the festival itself.
