Costelloe’s opener is at 9am and once the designer is done at LFW’s Somerset House base, he heads over to the Oxford Street branch of John Lewis, where, it was announced today, he’s to launch a pop-up shop

Among the other highlights out of the 170 designers showing at LFW are Burberry, Mulberry, Tom Ford, Julien Macdonald and Vivienne Westwood and among the off-piste show locations is the old Billingsgate fish market.

London Fashion Week is known for its arresting mix of the sophisticated and the street. Among the famous faces hosting LFW parties are Prime Minister’s wife Samantha Cameron, in the news this week for welcoming a new cat into Downing Street, and Kate Moss, reported to have spent a recent evening “squirting strawberry-flavour lube all over the place and playing with a big black sex toy.”
