First up, on 7 November, the finely-coiffed singer is heading to the Westfield mall in Shepherd’s Bush and then it’s on to sister shopping mecca, Westfield Stratford City, for a second go at flicking the festive switch.
In the Atrium at the Shepherd’s Bush branch, Bieber, 17, is to perform four songs – undoubtedly including new single Mistletoe – as part of his switch-on duties, while over at Stratford City, there’s more singing to be done before a fireworks display at the outdoor Chestnut plaza.
“We are incredibly excited that Justin Bieber is launching Christmas 2011 for Westfield London and Westfield Stratford City,” said Westfield big cheese Michael Gutman.
“We want to light up the capital and turn the world’s attention to London with Justin’s presence and make this an unforgettable event for his fans and our visitors.”
As part of Bieber’s light show, the singer will meet some of his fans, winners of a competition. Go here for the Shepherd’s Bush competition and here for the Stratford City one.
Bieber’s performance is billed to start at 5pm on 7 November for Shepherd’s Bush and at 7.45pm at Stratford City.
