THE CHARISMATIC Harrods boss Mohamed Al Fayed’s courtroom tirade at the UK’s establishment and Prince Philip in particular may have backfired.

Nazi
Mohamed Al Fayed branded Britain’s Prince Philip a “Nazi racist” yesterday (18.02.08) at the inquest into the death of Princess Diana.
The Harrods boss – whose son Dodi was killed in a Paris car crash along with the princess on August 31, 1997 – claims Diana’s former father-in-law was behind a plot to murder the couple and wanted him punished.
Speaking about Philip – who is married to Queen Elizabeth and is of Greek heritage – Al Fayed told the jury at London’s High Court: “It is time to send him back to Germany or from where he came from.
Frankenstein
“You want to know his original name, it ends with Frankenstein.
“He is a person who grew up with the Nazis, brought up by his auntie who married Hitler’s general. This is the man who is in charge (of the country), who can do anything, who manipulates. They are still living in the 18th and 19th century.”
Dracula
Then speaking about Diana’s marriage to Prince Charles, he said: “She suffered for 20 years from this Dracula family.”
Al Fayed claims Philip and Charles wanted Diana and Dodi dead because the couple were about to announce their engagement and the princess was pregnant.
He insists the pair were not willing to accept Dodi, a Muslim man, as stepfather to Diana and Charles’ eldest son Prince William, who is second in line to the throne.
The businessman also claims Charles planned to kill them so he would be free to marry his then girlfriend Camilla Parker-Bowles, who became known as Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, after their marriage in 2005.
Al Fayed said: “Prince Charles was involved. He participated definitely and I am sure he knows what is going to happen because he would like to get on and marry his Camilla.
“And this is what happened. They cleared the decks, they finished her, they murdered her and now he is happy.
Crocodile
“He married his crocodile wife and he is happy with that. Those are the two main people, Prince Philip and Prince Charles.
“He will not accept my son as a person who is a different religion, naturally tanned, curly hair.”
As well as Philip and Charles, Al Fayed – who claims Diana had told him she was pregnant before she died – also accused Tony Blair, Diana’s former butler Paul Burrell, judges, police chiefs, senior politicians, the secret services of Britain and France, the CIA, newspaper editors and even Diana’s sister of being involved.
Conspiracy
The coroner, Lord Justice Scott Baker, said: “There seems to be an awful lot of people involved in this conspiracy.”
Facing questions outside court after his appearance, Mr Fayed – clearly charged with fresh grief and anger at the loss of his son – blasted a BBC reporter as a fascist and MI6 agent.
