HALLOWEEN falls on a weekend in 2010, the last time in several years that’s the case, and there are plenty of special events planned in London to take advantage.

LondonNet has picked out a few highlights in our Halloween in London section, from a Halloween circus in Twickenham and a medieval banquet at St Catherine’s Dock to a Halloween special at the London Dungeon and a paranormal investigation at a nuclear bunker in Essex.

Halloween is also a big night for clubbers, many of whom are going to need costumes to get past the door/avoid ridicule.

They’re in the same boat as the tens of thousands of attendees at the thousands of Halloween parties going ahead this weekend, who are going to appreciate ideas for creepy costumes, scary accessories and spooky recipes.

For those who’d prefer a normal, Halloween-free night in, beware that as the night of spooks isn’t on a school day, the Trick or Treat kids will have longer to plan their evil deeds and will probably expect you to have a bigger than usual pile of sweeties.
