51 Buckingham Gate is in Westminster, the area of London most famous for its plethora of historic government and royal buildings. The Houses of Parliament, Big Ben and Buckingham palace are all close to the hotel. Also nearby are St James Park, perhaps London’s prettiest, and the River Thames.
All rooms at the 51 Buckingham Gate are suites, from the extreme luxury of the Superior Suites, through the multi-bedroomed Deluxe Suites, to the Junior Suites that are not so junior in that they feature a comfortable sitting area and kitchen. Superb dining is available at the hotel’s restaurants. Bank Westminster and Zander has the longest bar in Europe at some 48 metres and serves a la carte food at the bar as well as at tables. Quilon is a top quality Indian restaurant and The Library is used for breakfast, coffee breaks and light meals.
