Annie Mary lives in the Welsh village of Ogw with her tyrannical father, the local baker who loves to sing opera and makes his deliveries dressed as Pavarotti. She yearns to break out, but can’t seem to escape her father’s grasp. When best friend Bethan requests a visit to Disneyland as her dying wish, Annie Mary spearheads the fund-raising campaign, organising an all-girl group to sing in a national talent competition. The performance doesn’t go quite to plan, but the results are truly spectacular.
