Anselmo is a shepherd in Salamanca in central Spain, who works on the land with his flock and his trusty dog Pillo. Greedy property developers are determined to buy Anselmo’s plot of land but he is unimpressed by their pitch and refuses their generous offer. Unperturbed, the developers decide to take a different tack with Anselmo and they enlist the services of two local men to apply gentle pressure to the shepherd.
