A Special Forces Operation in Helmand Province prompts a Taliban counter attack, which has terrible repercussions for one British Army patrol fighting the deadly, invisible enemy alongside the Afghan Army. The unit’s three-day patrol extends into double figures and ammunition runs low, causing divisions in the ranks. The Captain in charge of the mission fails to extinguish simmering tensions and the disillusioned and exhausted soldiers question their role in the war.
