The whole of Whoville excitedly looks forward to the Christmas season under the aegis of the Mayor, who has decreed that this year’s celebrations should be three times grander than usual. Everyone except for The Grinch, who lives in a cave overlooking the town with trusty pooch Max. The Grinch despises the festive season as a result of trauma in his childhood and he despairs that townsfolk are full of Yuletide cheer. Consequently, The Grinch resolves to destroy Christmas for Whoville.
