On August 20, 1977, NASA launched the space probe Voyager 2 followed by its sister probe Voyager 1 on September 5. Using a slingshot trajectory, the twin crafts visited Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune, transmitting images and data back to Earth that allowed us to better understand the planets and their moons. This documentary combines previously unseen archive footage, photographs, interviews and animation to pay tribute to the Voyager mission.
