Dating back to the mid-19th century, The Durham Miners' Gala - known locally as The Big Meeting - is an annual celebration and trade union march, which invites around 200,000 people, banners and brass bands to parade through the city streets every second Saturday in July. To coincide with the 150th anniversary of the DMA, this film is granted unprecedented access to the 2018 event to capture the gala through the eyes of four participants.
