World famous conductor Carlo Tetrocini has almost single-handedly destroyed his family, and driven away his older son, Tetro. Younger boy, 17-year-old Bennie, goes in search of his sibling, heading for Bueno Aires where he finds Tetro living with sensual lover Miranda, who is delighted to find out about Tetro’s past. Bennie tries to reconnect with Tetro and to exorcise a few of the demons which continue to haunt the prodigal son.
