Eight years ago, John Biswas saw his world implode when his granddaughter Angela was snatched from him and his wife Nancy. He cannot move on with his life until he has sought justice for the little girl but the local police have drawn a blank. Out of the blue, John finds a clue and he elicits help from cop turned priest, Father Martin. Their enquiries seem to hit a dead end. Then there is another kidnapping, which echoes the fate that befell Angela.
