Sound recordist Eoghan left Ireland 15 years ago to pursue his career. A job offer draws him back to his homeland, where he has been asked to travel to remote towns and villages, searching for locations completely devoid of man-made noise. As Eoghan roams these far flung communities, he meets locals whose stories of triumph and woe move him, and distract him from the task at hand. These reminiscences also compel Eoghan to reflect on everyone and everything he left behind.
