Filmmaker Higurashi is orchestrating a low-budget shoot in an abandoned water treatment plant, which was rumoured to be the site of secret military experiments many years ago. Clashing with his actors, Higurashi turns to his cinematographer for help just as a real-life zombie apocalypse unfolds off camera. As the undead shuffle menacingly into the treatment plant, Higurashi's camera continues to roll and he captures genuine terror on the faces of his cast.
