Neither Wolf Nor Dog + Inhale (12A)

Writer Kent Nerburn receives a mysterious telephone call to meet an old man named Dan on a remote Native American reservation. His curiosity is piqued and Kent travels across the Great Plains to Dan's home. The old man gives him a shoe box of notes, which the elder hopes can be shaped into a book about the Native American perspective on modern American culture. Despite his best efforts, Kent struggles to distil Dan's thoughts into a coherent text.
