Eleven-year-old Luis Sonntag is neglected by his father Armin, a crazy ufologist who claims he was abducted by aliens. Three extra-terrestrials called Mog, Nag and Wabo crash-land on Earth in search of the most desirable home shopping channel item in the galaxy – a Nubbi Dubbi massage mat. The shape-shifting green beings befriend Luis and the boy helps the visitors to track down a Nubbi Dubbi. In exchange, Mog, Nag and Wabo use their otherworldly powers to help Luis avoid boarding school.
