Ariel Makaroff helps his mother Sonia to run a lingerie store in an ailing shopping mall in Buenos Aires. Haunted by the loss of his father Elias, who abandoned the family when he was young, Ariel searches for a sense of identity in a rapidly evolving, multi-ethnic world.
