In 2001, German filmmaker Thomas Riedelsheimer released the documentary Rivers And Tides, which illuminated the working practices of influential British sculptor and environmentalist Andy Goldsworthy, whose grand works combine natural materials in rural and urban settings. Sixteen years later, Riedelsheimer collaborates with Goldsworthy on a companion portrait, which follows the artist from his beloved home in Dumfriesshire to France, Brazil and America as he creates his monumental works.
